Amazing Experience
The event was incredible. Louis was obviously AMAZING. Everything from his performance was incredible. The only thing that I really had trouble with, was the standing room. Standing that long in a hot room with thousands of people, and quite a few of them dropping from the heat and dehydration only slightly held at bay by a measley sip of water passed through the crowd, was not the greatest, and it took away from the experience slightly. Not to mention, if you were behind Shaquille O'neal's 2 white daughters, it was really difficult to see anything without constantly standing on your tip toes or jumping up and down just to get a glimpse of the performance. I guess all of that could just be apart of the experience, but standing room just isn't my cup of tea, although I'd definitely go through it all again just to see Louis' incredible performance. So yeah, just maybe invest in some bigger paper cups and maybe all the really tall people should just stand behind anyone shorter than them. It might make it a whole lot easier for everyone to really see the person they bought tickets to see, and you could spot fainters a lot easier that way too. Win, win. Despite the improvements to be made to the venue, the show really woke me up. Throughout the pandemic, and maybe a little before, I'd been a sleepwalking version of myself. Seeing Louis and his support, Sun Room, in concert really shook me out of it and made me realize why I've always loved music. The atmosphere it creates, the emotions it inflicts, the absolute joy it inspires, and the community it creates. That's why this show was so special, and why Louis is so special.
